About: The Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve and it's Environmental Education Center encompass a total of 292-acres of forests and wetlands and also incorporates the multi-use/multifaceted "Green" Education Center itself. The entire preserve is surrounded by suburban development and is simply a wonderful way for anyone in the area to easily and quickly "get back to nature" and enjoy all that this beautiful preserve has to offer. There's a fall nature festival, snowshoe and ski excursions, hiking and of course self-guided tours among other activities. If you're lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of some of the preserves waterfowl, beavers, deer, hawks and more.
