ABOUT THE WESTERN NEW YORK – URBAN ARTS COLLECTIVE:
WNY-UAC was organized in 2017 to create a platform to address the need to recognize, develop, educate, support and promote the professional development for visual artists. The underserved talented visual artists of color united together in order to establish an art network into their community and the world of art. Members share a vision of expanded cultural awareness, respect and equal opportunities for their creative talents.
WNY-UAC prides itself on its continuous involvement in the community by offering an extensive source of educational enrichments and activities for inspiring visual artists. Their desire is to be equally represented with access in participation of all levels. UAC network extends from the artists to art organizations and into the community. Our cultural objective is to archive the social history of artists past, present and future. There
