Dates: Opening Reception: Friday, June 8, 2018 7:30 to 9pm On View through July 6, 2018 The Western New York Artists Group is pleased to announce a curated exhibition of works by ten members of the Western New York - Urban Arts Collective. Works included will be in various mediums and styles, incorporating a variety of subjects. The Exhibit will be held in our gallery space; Artists Group Gallery, One Linwood Avenue in Buffalo. Artists to be included are: Kobie Barber, Renee Brown, Markenzy Cesar, Kerima Collier, James Cooper III, Iris Kirkwood, James Pappas, Betty Pitts-Foster, Ray Robertson and Phyllis I. ABOUT THE WESTERN NEW YORK – URBAN ARTS COLLECTIVE: WNY-UAC was organized in 2017 to create a platform to address the need to recognize, develop, educate, support and promote the professional development for visual artists. Members share a vision of expanded cultural awareness, respect and equal opportunities for their creative talents. WNY-UAC prides itself on its continuous involvement in the community by offering an extensive source of educational enrichments and activities for inspiring visual artists.
