About: If persistent knee pain has you considering joint replacement surgery, it’s important to know your options. Advances in minimally invasive surgery and new implant technology are making partial knee replacement procedures a better alternative for many patients, resulting in less pain, shorter hospital stays and quicker recoveries than a traditional total knee replacement.
Catholic Health is sponsoring a free community program entitled, “Get the Whole Story on Partial Knee Replacement” on April 17, 2018 in the Community Room at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, 2950 Elmwood Avenue, Kenmore. Choose from one of two sessions, 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Registration will begin a half hour prior to each program.
Join physical rehabilitation specialist Dr. Cindy Romanowski as she discusses the treatment options available for osteoarthritis and other debilitating knee conditions, along with information on the benefits of partial knee replacement surgery. Dr. Romanowski will also answer your questions and address relevant medical concerns during the event.
“Get the Whole Story on Partial Knee Replacement” is open to the public. Free parking is available and light refreshments will be served. Space is limited and reservations are required. Please call Catholic Health’s HealthConnection at 716-447-6205.
