About: Curated by SUNY Buffalo State graduate students in the museum studies course, MST 622 “Researching and Presenting Museum Collections.” They include: David Banchich, Ashley Carney, Audrey Clark, Matthew Crissey, Mark Dabney, Melissa Fanton, Carla Feller, Mary Langille, and Abigail Augusta Lee working with Nancy Weekly, Burchfield Penney Instructor of Museum Studies and the Burchfield Scholar. Together they selected artworks that illustrate artists’ expressions of their identity, both as individuals and as part of a global community. They also chose artworks that address the duality of the world we live in: both positive and negative images of nature’s beauty and the ravages of environmental damage and pollution.
