About: Understand electricity through the eyes of Nikolai Tesla, Thomas Edison and modern day scientists. You can explore the Robert Moses Dam through 3D animations that provide a safe look inside its operations. Giant screens help you experience the power making ability of Niagara Falls and a 4-D animated theatre takes you through the process of creating electricity and riding the transmission lines to power hungry customers. See what it was like to build one of the nation’s largest hydroelectric plants in only three years. Simulated challenges allow you to operate the facility, the State’s transmission network and much more. If all that doesn’t make your hair stand on end, the Van de Graaff generator will. The Power Vista is open seven days a week 9:00am to 5:00pm excluding a few holidays with FREE parking and admission.
